To clear Hell Mode in Lucky Defense! when only one player provides damage, build a core trio of Boss Birddraw, Grand Mama, and Hailey while your teammate focuses exclusively on summoning stuns and attack speed buffs.

This cooperative division allows the damage player to commit all summoning slots to offensive scaling without losing control of mob waves.

The Solo Carry Damage Trio

A solo carry setup requires specific unit roles rather than random damage dealers. Each of the three core units covers a critical failure point in Hell Mode:

  • Boss Birddraw: Serves as the primary boss killer and cluster management unit. Birddraw scales aggressively with attack speed, firing high-frequency special activations to melt late-stage boss health pools before targets pass the frontline.
  • Grand Mama: Delivers heavy baseline physical damage. Her high-impact strikes break through elite mob waves during mid-to-late transitions where target health spikes.
  • Hailey: Provides wide-area burst clearing. Because Hell Mode spawns dense waves, Hailey cleans up lingering swarms to keep Birddraw and Grand Mama focused on elites and bosses.

Splitting Board Roles

Standard co-op boards divide summoning resources between damage dealers and crowd control on both sides. A solo carry strategy reallocates those responsibilities entirely.

Carry Board Discipline

The carry player should not waste board space or summoning stones on utility or low-tier crowd control. Every active slot must contribute directly to damage output. Commit all upgrade investments to maximizing the primary trio rather than attempting late-game pivots into secondary attackers.

Support Board Responsibilities

The partner must dedicate their entire board to utility. That means summoning enough stun units to permanently freeze incoming waves and stacking attack speed totems or aura units. Attack speed buffs accelerate attack animations and trigger rates for the carry's Mythic units without requiring the carry to dilute their board.

Positioning and Wave Control

Proper positioning ensures the carry core receives team buffs and attacks efficiently:

  1. Establish an Early Choke Point: The support player must cluster stun units where the spawn path converges near the front of the track. Stopping mobs early prevents them from slipping into defensive turns where Boss Birddraw's focus can fracture.
  2. Cluster for Area Damage: Freezing enemies tightly at the entrance allows Hailey's area burst to hit maximum mob density, creating clear line-of-sight for Grand Mama's heavy hits.
  3. Align for Speed Auras: Place Boss Birddraw, Grand Mama, and Hailey adjacent to the central boundary between boards. This positioning guarantees that all three units sit within range of the teammate's attack speed aura units.
