To clear Stage 1 in Mythic Survivors, draft at least two area-of-effect (AoE) offensive skills within your first three levels, kite enemy swarms in wide oval paths, and leave floor consumables untouched until you need them. Prioritizing crowd-clearing weapons over passive stats early on ensures you can eliminate dense clusters, collect experience gems safely, and burst down the chapter boss.

Early Skill Draft Priorities

During your first three level-ups, select active projectile or radial damage abilities that hit multiple targets simultaneously instead of single-target attacks or passive utility upgrades.

Common mobs spawn in loose packs during the opening minutes, but enemy density ramps up quickly. If you draft passive stat boosters—such as movement speed, raw damage percentages, or cooldown reduction—before acquiring two active crowd-clearing skills, your damage volume will fall behind the spawn rate.

Follow this order when leveling up in the early game:

  1. First two weapon slots: Choose multi-target, radial, or piercing projectile abilities to establish consistent crowd control.
  2. Subsequent drafts: Mix in passive cooldown reduction or attack range upgrades to amplify your established weapons.
  3. Stat buffs: Pick raw damage and movement utility once your core attacks comfortably clear standard waves.

Movement and Map Positioning

Maintain a continuous, wide oval kiting pattern across open ground. Moving erratically through the center of the arena allows monsters to flank your hero from multiple angles, while linear backpedaling eventually runs into obstacles.

  • Stay off the edges: Position your hero roughly one-third of a screen length away from the map borders. When new waves spawn, rings of enemies appear directly from the outer boundary; standing near the perimeter causes immediate collision damage.
  • Funnel the horde: Wide loops pull trailing enemies into a tight, manageable line behind your character, directing auto-firing attacks into the front of the pack while leaving a clean path to circle back for dropped experience gems.

Handling Elites and Chests

Stage 1 elites possess larger health pools and distinct visual indicators, frequently executing linear rush attacks or emitting radial bursts. Do not stand still to trade damage with an elite. Instead, maintain your orbit around the outskirts of the mob to bait the elite ahead of the common enemies.

When an elite dies, it drops a glowing treasure chest containing gold and free skill upgrades. Never rush immediately into the pack to collect it. Clear the remaining common enemies in the immediate area or lead the surviving swarm on a wide detour before swinging back to open the chest safely.

Field Resource Management

Breakable objects across the stage drop roasted meat and vacuum magnets. Leaving these pickups on the ground until specific survival conditions arise provides a critical safety buffer:

  • Roasted Meat: Leave healing items on the ground and remember their locations. Retrieve them only when your health falls below 50 percent or right after taking a hit during a boss encounter.
  • Vacuum Magnets: Avoid touching magnets while waves are sparse. Trigger them when monster density becomes too high to collect experience gems manually, granting instant level-ups and mid-wave skill upgrades without forcing you into danger.

Beating the Stage 1 Boss

When the stage timer reaches its end, normal enemy spawns recede and the primary boss enters the arena. The boss relies on high-damage frontal charges and wide sweep attacks.

Keep your hero at medium range and strafe perpendicularly whenever the boss begins an attack windup animation. Rushing inward for point-blank damage creates a high risk of lethal contact damage. Maintain steady circular movement around the boss, dodge the telegraphed charges, and let your auto-firing projectile abilities deplete its health bar from safe distance.
