Skip 20x summoning boost events like the Tekteon banner during Clan vs. Clan (CvC) tournaments unless your clan requires points for a high-priority win or your shard reserve already covers the cost of an upcoming Fusion or Guaranteed Champion event.

How 20x Events Work

A 20x event does not increase the baseline chance of pulling a legendary champion from Ancient, Sacred, or Void shards. It only increases the relative probability that a pulled legendary will be the specific featured hero, such as Tekteon.

Because the underlying legendary drop rate remains unchanged, opening shards during a 20x banner carries a high statistical risk of pulling non-featured legendaries or no legendaries at all.

Plarium frequently schedules 20x banners alongside CvC tournaments. This creates dual pressure to gain clan points while chasing a specific hero, which often drains Ancient, Sacred, and Void shard stockpiles right before guaranteed progression events arrive.

Before pulling shards during a 20x CvC overlap, evaluate your account using these criteria:

Fusion Reserve Threshold: Ensure you maintain a baseline reserve of shards dedicated exclusively to completing future Fusion events.
Clan Objective: Confirm whether your clan is pushing for a specific tournament tier victory where shard points decide the outcome.
Target Utility: Determine if the featured champion solves an immediate bottleneck in content like Hydra, Clan Boss, or Arena, rather than serving as an optional collection upgrade.

If your reserve drops below your target fusion threshold or your clan is not competing for a tier reward, hold your shards for guaranteed events.
