Capturing and holding towers and ports in Sea of Conquest: Pirate War requires a coordinated alliance effort. Solo fleets cannot defeat these strategic locations because automated guard fleets regenerate health faster than a single ship can deal damage. To take a node, your alliance must launch a simultaneous assault to clear the defensive perimeter, damage the main structure, and hold the target against counter-attacks.

Preparing Alliance Fleet Rallies

Success depends on mobilizing enough players at the same time rather than relying solely on high individual fleet stats.

  • Schedule standard attack windows: Alliance leadership should set a specific event time to ensure maximum player participation.
  • Avoid trickle attacks: Fleets that attack one by one will be picked off by guard fleets. All participating members must converge on the node at the exact same moment to overload the target's defensive AI.
  • Prep damage dealers: Primary offensive fleets should fully stock cargo with supplies and complete all ship repairs before the strike begins. Docking mid-fight interrupts momentum and can allow defensive timers to reset.

Clearing Guard Fleets and Siege Perimeter

Every port and tower is ringed by automated guard fleets that shield the central structure. You must eliminate this perimeter before attacking the node directly.

  1. Evaluate guard difficulty: Check the level and health pool of the defensive fleets around the node. Under-leveled or unoptimized fleets will take severe damage quickly.
  2. Clear the outer fleet circle: Have your alliance engage the guard fleets as a group to share incoming damage and clear a direct line to the target.
  3. Focus fire on the structure: Once the perimeter guards are cleared, divert damage fleets to attack the main tower or port structure before respawn timers trigger.

Resource Management and Defensive Posture

Taking territory consumes stamina and repair resources, while keeping your fleet active requires managing risk during prolonged sieges.

  • Carry extra repair cargo: Stock spare repair materials to fix damage without retreating to a distant home port.
  • Disengage when health is low: A destroyed fleet incurs a long cooldown timer, removing you from the fight. Pull back to repair at a nearby friendly dock before your ship is destroyed.
  • Establish defense rotations: Immediately after capturing a node, set up a roster of alliance fleets to patrol the location. Rival alliances will attempt to retake newly captured points.
  • Report hostile movements: Use alliance communication channels to post coordinates whenever enemy fleets approach your captured nodes so reinforcements can deploy.
