On PC, a larger display can make these sections easier to read: you have more room to follow terrain changes, judge a jump, spot a route through a dangerous area, and notice details that may lead to a hidden reward. The wider view is also helpful during boss fights, when recognizing an incoming attack and keeping track of enemy positioning matters as much as dealing damage.
