To get the Pearl White Cape in Sky: Children of the Light, you must relive the Wise Grandparent spirit’s memory in the Vault of Knowledge and purchase the item from their Traveling Spirit friendship tree before their visit ends.

Traveling Spirits appear at the return shrine at Home and near the event pavilion in Aviary Village. They arrive at the Thursday daily reset and depart late Sunday night or early Monday morning depending on your local time zone.

1. Locate and Relive the Spirit Memory

You cannot buy cosmetics from a Traveling Spirit until you have completed their memory in the realm where they originate.

1. Travel to the Vault of Knowledge from Home or Aviary Village.
2. From the first floor staging platform, turn toward the right side of the ground level to locate a sealed corridor behind a two-player telekinetic door.
3. Light the activation crystals with a second player (or wait for a server merge) to open the passage.
4. Approach the stone figure inside the chamber and light its candle to initiate the guiding light sequence.
5. Follow the glowing orb through the interior rooms. Stay within its radius to prevent the memory timer from depleting.
6. Light the petrified silhouette at the end of the path to awaken the spirit and return them to the social hubs.

2. Unlock the Friendship Tree to the Apex

Once the spirit is relived, interact with the Wise Grandparent at Home or Aviary Village to open their friendship tree. The Pearl White Cape sits at the very top of the vertical tree, requiring you to unlock prerequisite nodes first.

• Base Emote Levels: The lower nodes unlock early tiers of the spirit's meditative floating emote. Higher tiers introduce distinct glows and flourishes.
• Path Blessings and Sheet: Progression nodes between cosmetic tiers require standard white Candles to purchase random spell blessings and an instrumental music sheet.
• Wing Buff Milestone: Before reaching the top cosmetic tier, you must purchase the Wing Buff using Ascended Candles. This permanently increases your Winged Light wedge count upon rebirth.
• Pearl White Cape: Located at the apex of the tree, unlocked using standard Candles once the path beneath it is clear.
