Seasonal graduation gifts, commonly called Ultimate Gifts, represent the final unlockable rewards in Sky: Children of the Light. They require an active Season Pass, complete progression through every seasonal spirit constellation, and direct redemption using Seasonal Hearts before the event ends.

Because graduation gifts do not return through regular Traveling Spirits, wearing one serves as proof that an account was active and completed during that specific calendar window.

How to Unlock Seasonal Graduation Gifts

Graduation gifts cannot be purchased directly with standard currency. Unlocking them during any active season follows a strict sequence:

  1. Acquire the Season Pass: The pass grants access to locked branches in each seasonal spirit's friendship tree.
  2. Collect Seasonal Candles: Complete daily realm quests and gather daily candle clusters to accumulate seasonal currency.
  3. Ascend Seasonal Spirit Trees: Spend seasonal candles to purchase every node on each spirit tree.
  4. Claim Seasonal Hearts: Collect the Seasonal Heart located at the top of each completed seasonal spirit branch.
  5. Trade with the Season Guide: Visit the Season Guide in the realm hub or Aviary Village and exchange your Seasonal Hearts for the graduation cosmetics.

Once a season timer reaches zero, unclaimed graduation gifts become completely unavailable.

Graduation Gifts Across Account Eras

The cosmetics rewarded at graduation reflect the mechanics and aesthetic themes introduced in each era of the game.

Foundational Eras: Seasons 1 to 6

The earliest seasons established core cosmetic styles and functional gear:

  • Season of Gratitude: Deer Mask, a tall horned headpiece that remains one of the rarest cosmetics.
  • Season of Lightseekers: Lightseeker Umbrella prop and specialized wind instruments.
  • Season of Belonging: Campfire prop, providing rapid light recharging and permanent social chat capabilities, alongside the White Gold trimmed cape.
  • Season of Rhythm: Owl Hair, featuring twin feathered tufts and a white crest, paired with an ornate director's mask and musical prop.
  • Season of Enchantment: Veiled purple Turban and dual-tassel cape earned through the Forgotten Ark storyline.
  • Season of Sanctuary: Wide-winged Manta Cape and Handpan percussion instrument.

Narrative and Prop Expansion: Seasons 7 to 13

Middle-era seasons expanded environmental tools, collaboration themes, and detailed trials:

  • Season of Prophecy: Anubis Mask, featuring an animated halo behind the head that illuminates dark areas.
  • Season of Dreams: Phoenix Cape with layered red feathers and an avian bird mask.
  • Season of Assembly: Functional campsite props, including an overhead tarp tent, marching horn, face mask, and portable pot brazier for light recharging.
  • Season of The Little Prince: IP collaboration featuring the Prince's ruffled green scarf cape, royal hair, and interactive rose prop companion.
  • Season of Flight: Dual-colored feather hairpin and an aviator-styled feathered mantle.
  • Season of Abyss: Braided hairstyle, diver's respirator mask, and an eel-inspired cape.
  • Season of Performance: Penguin-styled tufted hair, theatrical performance mask, and stage cape.

Collaborative and World-Building Eras: Seasons 14 to 20

Later seasons removed traditional spirit hubs or introduced external artistic partnerships:

Housing and Social Expression: Seasons 21 to 27

Recent releases, including Season of Nesting and Season of Duets, shifted focus toward individual spaces and performance. Season of Nesting awarded interior props, including the hanging Nesting Chandelier, furniture items, and an architect's badge cape. Season of Duets introduced the concert Violin—which enables full bowing musical arrangements—alongside an asymmetrical composer's cape and tailored formal hair. Seasons 23 through 27 have continued this focus on personal sanctums, social tools, and artistic self-expression.

Distinguishing Ultimate Gifts from Regular Cosmetics

When evaluating account eras, do not confuse returning spirit items with true graduation rewards:

  • Traveling Spirits: Standard spirits return bi-weekly with their original cape colors, instruments, and expressions. However, Traveling Spirits never offer the Season Guide's Ultimate Gifts.
  • Tribute Items: Certain later seasons released cosmetics that resemble early graduation items. For example, the Season of Performance hair resembles the Season of Rhythm Owl Hair. True Rhythm hair features a wider feathered silhouette, distinct beak shape, and crisp white crest lines, whereas Performance hair has a rounder crest and dark ear accents.

To secure future graduation gifts, monitor the active season timer, finish daily quests consistently, and turn in all required Seasonal Hearts to the Season Guide before the season concludes.
