To progress efficiently in Star Wars™: Galaxy of Heroes, restrict standard Credits to your active squads and 5-dot mods, spend daily Crystals on 50-Crystal energy refreshes instead of store packs, pull Bronzium Data-Cards with Ally Points, and buy exclusive character shards from game stores before converting extra tokens into gear or Shard Shop currency. Spreading resources across bench units or buying randomized packs stalls account development.

Standard Credits and Ship Credits

Standard Credits and Ship Credits create persistent bottlenecks from early gameplay through the mid-game transition. Leveling a single character from level 1 to 85 costs millions of Credits, alongside fees for star promotions, ability tiers, and mod upgrades. Restrict your credit spending strictly to active squad projects rather than spreading funds across inactive bench units.

CurrencyPrimary Acquisition SourcesPriority Spending Targets
CreditsCredit Heist, Galactic WarActive squad level 85 boosts, upgrading 5-dot mods
Ship CreditsFleet Challenges, SmugglingCapital ships (Executrix, Home One), primary fleet pilots

Mod investment requires substantial cash reserves. Upgrading 5-dot mods from level 1 to level 15 reveals secondary stats—particularly Speed—and quickly depletes your balance. Clear the Credit Heist event whenever it appears to replenish your reserves.

Ship Credits follow the same discipline in Fleet modes. Funnel Ship Credits into your primary capital ships, such as Executrix or Home One, and your core combat ships. Postpone upgrading secondary vessels until they are required for legendary events or active fleet arena lineups.

Crystals: Daily Energy Refreshes

Crystals represent the primary premium currency, acquired steadily through daily activity completions, Fleet Arena daily rank payouts, and Grand Arena Championship (GAC) round results.

Purchasing three daily 50-Crystal normal energy refreshes offers the highest return on investment. If Crystal income permits, follow up with 100-Crystal Cantina or Mod energy refreshes. Refreshing energy simultaneously accelerates three critical systems:

  • Node farming attempts for character shards and gear salvage
  • Account experience toward reaching player level 85
  • Daily raid ticket generation for your guild

Avoid spending 1,299 or more Crystals on randomized character packs in the Store. These packs provide wide, unpredictable shard payouts that rarely finish a specific project. Direct gear purchases from crystal shipments should be reserved for high-tier bottlenecks after daily energy refreshes are complete.

Ally Points: Bronzium Data-Cards

Ally Points accumulate naturally when bringing allied support units into Light Side, Dark Side, and Cantina battles. Rather than spending tens of thousands of points on fixed gear pieces in Weekly Shipments, spend your Ally Points opening 250-point Bronzium Data-Cards.

Opening Bronzium Data-Cards in volume yields greater net value through three yields:

  1. Gear Salvage: Low-tier salvage stacks drop directly, saving campaign energy on early gear tiers.
  2. Direct Credits: Small credit drops accumulate into noticeable reserves over time.
  3. Shard Shop Currency: Character drops convert automatically into Shard Shop currency whenever you pull duplicate shards or already-unlocked units.

Channel the resulting Shard Shop currency into high-tier purple and gold gear salvage, including Mk 3 Carbanti Sensor Arrays, Mk 5 A/KT Stun Guns, and Mk 3 Chedak Comlinks.

Cantina, Arena, and Galactic War Tokens

Daily activity tokens must be targeted toward core roster foundations before pivoting into economic conversion.

  • Cantina Battles Store: Unlock Chopper first to establish an early Phoenix squad, then Boba Fett for Credit Heist eligibility. Afterward, shift into ship blueprints such as Cassian's U-Wing or direct Credit shipments if facing an acute deficit.
  • Squad Arena Store: Unlock Kanan Jarrus and Grand Moff Tarkin to fulfill Legendary event prerequisites. Once unlocked, spend Squad Arena currency on Prestige materials to upgrade capital ship abilities, or purchase Credits.
  • Galactic War Store: Unlock Zeb Orrelios, Cad Bane, and Biggs Darklighter. Once these characters reach 7 stars, continue purchasing 400-token character shards daily. Because Galactic War awards steady tokens on full board clears, these purchases serve as your primary engine for Shard Shop currency.

Guild and Fleet Arena Stores

Guild and Fleet Arena tokens represent high-value currencies containing exclusive character shards and advanced upgrade components. Avoid spending these tokens on common gear salvage that can be farmed on regular campaign nodes.

In the Fleet Arena Store, reserve 2,000 tokens to purchase Zeta Ability Materials whenever they rotate into the shop. Beyond Zetas, allocate fleet tokens exclusively to rare ships and units that lack easy hard-node access, such as Darth Vader, General Grievous, and the Razor Crest.

In the Guild Store, prioritize exclusive character shards that cannot be acquired on standard nodes. Target Logray for the Ewok faction, Dengar for Bounty Hunters, and Jyn Erso for Rogue One squads. Hold off on buying purple gear salvage from the Guild Store until these exclusive character farms are finished.
