To solo the Heroic AAT (HAAT) Tank Takedown raid in Star Wars™: Galaxy of Heroes on semi-auto, run a Rebel and Droid squad featuring Commander Luke Skywalker (Lead), Han Solo, Chewbacca, C-3PO, and BB-8.
This team generates near-infinite turn meter and chains percent-health damage through out-of-turn assists. You only need to step in manually at the start of phases to set debuffs and trigger tank Topples, after which auto-combat can run the rest of the encounter.

Required Squad Setup
Every character in this setup enables specific turn-meter control or assist mechanics:
- Commander Luke Skywalker (Lead): Grants bonus counter chance and feeds Turn Meter to Rebel allies whenever an enemy resists an effect, suffers a debuff, or loses Turn Meter via It Binds All Things. His special, Use the Force, inflicts Buff Immunity and Tenacity Down.
- Han Solo: Fires first at the start of every phase, applying a stun and removing Turn Meter with his basic attack. Under Chewbacca's Guard, he cannot be critically hit, dazed, or stunned.
- Chewbacca: Grants Guard to Han and the weakest ally, triggering guaranteed assists when Guarded allies attack. His attacks inflict percent-health damage to shred raid bosses quickly.
- C-3PO: Inflicts Confuse to disable enemy buffs, counters, and Turn Meter gains. His unique ability applies Expose whenever allies attack out of turn.
- BB-8: Accelerates team speed via Covert Data Transfer and assists. Casting Illuminated Destiny grants 80% Turn Meter, cooldown reductions, and offensive buffs to the entire lineup.

Phase-by-Phase Execution
| Phase | Boss / Objective | Manual Action Required | When to Engage Auto |
|---|---|---|---|
| Phase 1 | General Grievous | Stun a side droid, inflict Buff Immunity and Confuse on Grievous. | Once Grievous has Buff Immunity and Confuse stacked. |
| Phase 2 | AAT Tank Hull | Focus down side cannons, then main cannon to trigger Topple. | Immediately after the tank enters Topple. |
| Phase 3 | Rocket Droid Specialist | Target the main boss and apply Confuse. | Immediately after targeting the boss. |
| Phase 4 | AAT Tank & Air Strike | Focus down side cannons and main cannon to trigger Topple. | Immediately after the tank enters Topple. |
Phase 1: General Grievous
Grievous gains 100% Turn Meter and resets his ability cooldowns every seven times he takes damage. You must disable his mechanics manually before letting auto-combat run:
- Use Han Solo’s bonus opening turn to stun either the B2 Rocket Droid or the IG-100 MagnaGuard.
- Use Commander Luke Skywalker’s Use the Force on General Grievous to apply Buff Immunity and Tenacity Down. This prevents Grievous from gaining tactical buffs and calling taunts.
- Use C-3PO to land Confuse on Grievous to shut down his counter-attacks and Turn Meter gains.
- Target Grievous directly and toggle Auto. The squad's Turn Meter removal will clear the phase before Grievous can act.
Phase 2: AAT Tank Hull
The main hull cannot be defeated safely on full auto while the turrets are functional, as a fully charged Main Cannon deals lethal squad-wide damage:
- Manually target and destroy the Left and Right Cannons first.
- Destroy the Main Cannon. Destroying all three stations simultaneously causes the tank to enter the Toppled state for two turns, drastically lowering its armor.
- Turn on Auto and target the central hull. Chewbacca’s assists and C-3PO’s chained Exposes will burn down the hull's health pool.
- Intervention check: When the tank recovers from Topple, disable Auto if the Main Cannon's charge meter is nearly full. Re-destroy the side and main cannons to trigger another Topple, then re-engage Auto.
Phase 3: Rocket Droid Specialist
Phase 3 requires minimal manual input because the boss lacks reactive Turn Meter triggers:
- Manually target the central Rocket Droid Specialist on your opening move.
- Use C-3PO to apply Confuse, ignoring the summoned B1 Battle Droids entirely.
- Engage Auto. Han Solo and Commander Luke Skywalker continuously drain the boss's Turn Meter on basic attacks, keeping the specialist immobilized while BB-8 loops Illuminated Destiny.
Phase 4: Tank Hull and Air Strike
Phase 4 reintroduces the tank hull alongside support B2 Battle Droids and an orbital Air Strike timer:
- Manually target the side cannons and main cannon to secure an immediate Topple, exactly as done in Phase 2.
- Once the tank is Toppled, target the central hull and engage Auto.
- Chewbacca's passive assists and squad counter-attacks will eliminate the side B2 droids automatically.
- BB-8's continuous buff generation softens the incoming damage from the periodic Air Strike, allowing the team to survive any stray hits while burning through the remaining hull integrity.
