You can clear all four phases of the Heroic Sith Triumvirate Raid (HSTR) in Star Wars™: Galaxy of Heroes using a two-man squad of Supreme Leader Kylo Ren (SLKR) and Hermit Yoda. By omitting a full five-character squad, you prevent raid bosses from gaining bonus turn meter and debuff triggers from fragile allies. This setup relies on Hermit Yoda staying in stealth while buffing Kylo Ren, whose Mastery ramping and damage immunity carry the team through Phase 4.
Required Squad Setup and Modding Targets
Both characters require specific relic investments, key zetas, and high-speed mod sets to survive boss mechanics and outpace enrage timers.
| Unit | Relic Level | Key Abilities & Zetas | Target Stats & Sets |
|---|---|---|---|
| Supreme Leader Kylo Ren | Relic 7+ | Galactic Legend, Press the Advantage, Furious Onslaught, Depths of Rage | 530+ Speed, Offense set, Critical Damage triangle |
| Hermit Yoda | Relic 3 to 5 | Do or Do Not, Master's Training | 310+ Speed, Health or Defense survivability sets |
Supreme Leader Kylo Ren requires his Ultimate ability, Depths of Rage, to survive lethal boss strikes. Hermit Yoda requires the "Do or Do Not" zeta to maintain protection regeneration across phase transitions and survive stray area-of-effect damage.
Phase 1: Darth Nihilus
Phase 1 requires managing Darth Nihilus’s Annihilate ability while establishing Kylo Ren’s Mastery siphon stacks.
- Apply Master’s Training: Have Hermit Yoda immediately apply Master's Training to Kylo Ren on his first turn. This grants permanent bonus offense, defense, accuracy, and critical chance.
- Build Siphon Stacks: Use Kylo’s basic attack, Brutal Slash, and Furious Onslaught to strip Nihilus’s protection shield while building Mastery via Siphon. Call Kylo to assist using Hermit Yoda's "Strength Flows From the Force."
- Survive Annihilate: When Nihilus reaches full turn meter with Annihilate ready, activate Kylo’s Ultimate stance (Depths of Rage) or use the Unbreakable Will raid ability. While in his Ultimate stance, Kylo cannot drop below 1 Health, neutralizing the instant-kill effect.
- Avoid Retaliation: Do not attack Nihilus with Hermit Yoda’s basic ability when Nihilus has active counter mechanics, ensuring Yoda remains concealed in stealth.
Phase 2: Darth Sion
Darth Sion inflicts Cycle of Pain on attackers, which eventually converts into Cycle of Suffering. Sion gains speed and offense from these effects, but Kylo Ren gains Mastery whenever enemies gain bonus turn meter.
- Target Sion Directly: Direct all attacks and assists exclusively into Darth Sion.
- Retain Cycle of Pain: Do not cleanse Cycle of Pain from Kylo Ren using the Soothing Aura raid ability. Kylo's health steal easily offsets incoming damage, and Sion’s bonus turns accelerate Kylo’s stat scaling.
- Heal Through Burst Damage: Use Hermit Yoda's healing skill whenever Kylo absorbs heavy hits to instantly restore his health pool.
- Maintain Ability Rotation: Cast Furious Onslaught whenever off cooldown to strip Sion’s armor and boost Kylo's damage past 200,000 per hit before moving to Phase 3.
Phase 3: Darth Traya
Phase 3 introduces Darth Traya and three floating Sith Sabers. Traya periodically inflicts Isolate, which prevents affected allies from gaining buffs or out-of-turn attacks.
- Topple Traya Quickly: Open the phase with Kylo’s Furious Onslaught. The area-of-effect damage will destroy or disable all three sabers, immediately placing Traya into a toppled state.
- Exploit the Topple Window: While Traya is toppled, she cannot counterattack or gain turn meter. Attack her with Brutal Slash and Striketeam Siphon to drive down her health.
- Manage Stand Alone: Never use the Stand Alone mechanic on Hermit Yoda. If Traya recovers from topple and threatens to Isolate Yoda, activate Stand Alone on Kylo Ren to absorb all targeting until Traya is defeated.
Phase 4: The Sith Triumvirate
Phase 4 places Darth Nihilus, Darth Sion, and Darth Traya on the battlefield simultaneously. Follow an explicit kill order to remove mechanics before boss damage stacks.
- Eliminate Darth Nihilus First: Direct all of Kylo's single-target abilities and Yoda's assist calls onto Nihilus. Activate Depths of Rage at full charge before Nihilus takes a turn with Annihilate available.
- Eliminate Darth Sion Second: Shift attacks to Sion once Nihilus falls. Without Nihilus applying Defense Down, Sion cannot overcome Kylo's boosted defense and health steal.
- Eliminate Darth Traya Last: Finish Traya once her allies are down. Isolated from her team, her passive mechanics cannot outpace Kylo’s stacked Mastery, allowing you to finish the raid.
