Before moving from Taris Upper City to the Lower City, check your journal for local tasks, talk with residents who may offer them, and sell unwanted items to merchants for credits. The supplied draft presents these as preparation, not requirements for progressing.
Prepare before heading to the Lower City
- Talk with residents. Conversations may point you toward local tasks and their objectives.
- Check your journal. Use it to keep track of any tasks you have started.
- Sell unwanted items. The draft recommends selling low-value loot to build up credits for purchases from merchants.
The draft does not establish that you need to complete every task or buy specific gear before leaving the Upper City. Use the journal to check what remains, then continue when you’re ready.

The explanation is clear, especially for beginners.
Good guide for Star Wars™: KOTOR players. The strategy part was useful.
Can you add more details about strategy in a future update?
This saved me time in the early game.
