Stick War: Saga on PC is a real-time strategy game set in Inamorta, a world where weapons are treated as religion and rival nations continue fighting for dominance. You take part in that struggle through both competitive and single-player battles, commanding armies built from distinct factions and unit styles. The classic nations include the Swordwrath, Speartons, Archidons, Magikill, and Giants, while newer forces add further tactical variety. The Sicklewrath, for example, can turn from simple farmers into warriors with deadly splash damage, while the Chaos Empire’s Eclipsors attack from above as flying, ranged creatures. Shadowrath serve as ninja assassins, giving the battlefield another very different threat to account for. These are not merely cosmetic faction names: the game’s appeal rests on learning what each army can do and choosing a force that suits the situation.

The central battle feature is direct control. Rather than managing an army only from a distant overview, you can take control of any unit at any time, making moment-to-moment decisions part of the strategy. That creates a loop of assembling a Battle Deck, entering a match, adapting your tactics during the fight, and then refining your army with new choices. Custom Armies let you collect and unlock a growing selection of Army types, add Upgrades to your deck, and research powerful army bonuses. Enhancements can change how a fight develops: the Rune of Reanimation causes poisoned enemy units to respawn as Zombies, called “Deads,” while spells provide other ways to control the field. A giant bubble can block incoming projectiles, and Snow Squall can freeze entire legions. Generals such as Prince Atreyos, leader of the Speartons, and Princess Kytchu, the Archidon bowmaster, give you additional named leaders to include as you shape your preferred approach.

The game supports PVP matches as well as 2v2 battles, so the same deck-building and battlefield decisions can be tested against individual opponents or coordinated with a friend. You can add friends and battle together, while practice matches against AI provide a place to try strategies before taking them into multiplayer. The single-player side includes a large, expanding campaign set against the continuing conflict between the Order Empire and the Chaos Empire. Its story follows figures including King Zarek and Zilaros, the Royal Hand, after the defeat of Chaos and the discovery that Medusa has been slain; what was hidden in her keep leads into the next adventure. The campaign is also planned as a multi-chapter experience with animated, comic-book-style cutscenes.

On PC, a larger display gives the battlefield and its combat information more room, which is useful when you are switching between units, watching projectile threats, and deciding when to use a defensive bubble or Snow Squall. Keyboard-and-mouse input also makes repeated unit selection and direct control easier to manage during real-time PVP or 2v2 pressure, while the wider screen helps when comparing Army types, Upgrades, Generals, and spells before committing to a Battle Deck. Outside the matches, Live Replays let you watch and share games, pause, rewind, fast-forward, and view the action from any player’s perspective. That makes replays useful not only as a record of a battle, but also as a way to review how different nations, deck choices, and battlefield decisions shaped the result. Custom Skins, Statues, voice-lines, and Emotes round out the presentation without replacing the game’s main focus: building an army, reading the opposing force, and taking control when the next decision matters.
