To defeat a Level 2 Valkyrie in Viking Rise, your Tribe must organize a coordinated rally led by the member with the highest Rally Hall capacity and strongest combat heroes. Unlike Level 1 encounters, a Level 2 Valkyrie features high base defense, large health pools, and area-of-effect skills that inflict heavy casualties on disorganized or mixed armies.

Before launching an attack, designate a dedicated rally initiator, specify a single troop type, and ensure all joining members clear space in their infirmaries.

Designate the Rally Lead

The player who initiates the rally establishes the base stats, march size, and active combat buffs for all participating troops.

  • Rally Hall Level: Select the player with the highest Rally Hall level in your Tribe to maximize total troop capacity.
  • Hero Pairing: The initiator should deploy high-rarity combat commanders with maxed primary skills and talent trees specialized in rally leadership or specific troop bonuses.
  • Avoid Low-Power Starters: Lower-might members should never initiate the rally simply to tag the boss, as the entire strike team inherits the starter's weaker stats.

Match Troop Types and Tiers

A Level 2 Valkyrie requires uniform troop deployment. Mixed-troop rallies dilute combat effectiveness because commander passives typically enhance only one specific unit archetype.

Before starting the timer, the rally captain must declare whether the rally will run Infantry, Pikemen, Archers, or Cavalry.

Rally ElementRequirementPurpose
Rally LeaderHighest Rally Hall level and combat mightSets the maximum army capacity and core combat buffs
Hero PairingHigh-rarity offensive commanders with active rally talentsProvides sustained damage output and burst damage
Troop TierHighest available (Tier 3 or Tier 4 minimum recommended)Withstands the boss's high attack power and reduces casualty rates
Unit TypePure single-type march matching the leader's focusMaximizes commander skill bonuses across all joined troops

Joining players must disable auto-fill settings when sending reinforcements. Auto-fill often pulls lower-tier units or gathering troops into the march queue, which wastes valuable capacity slots that require high-tier combat units.

Coordinate Rally Timers and March Distance

Travel distance is the main logistical failure point when organizing a Tribe rally against high-level world targets. If joining members cannot reach the rally point before the call-up timer expires, the march departs under-strength.

  1. Relocate toward the leader: Station participating Tribe members close to the designated rally initiator using territorial relocations before summoning or targeting the Valkyrie.
  2. Select appropriate rally timers: Use a 10-minute rally timer if participants are spread out across territory, or a 5-minute timer if members are clustered tightly together.
  3. Commit marches without recalling: Avoid recalling marching reinforcements mid-route, as recalculating travel times can prevent other members from filling remaining slots.
  4. Prioritize high-tier players: Rally leaders should monitor the reinforcement queue in real time to ensure high-might members take priority before troop capacity caps out.

Manage Infirmaries Before the Battle

Even a successful Level 2 Valkyrie victory results in substantial wounded numbers due to the boss's high frontline damage.

Every participant must heal existing wounded troops and verify their medical tent capacity before reinforcing the rally. If a player enters combat with full or near-capacity infirmaries, any additional severely wounded units die permanently rather than entering recovery. Where available on the kingdom map, activate defensive or healing runes to lower casualty rates and accelerate post-battle recovery times.
