To beat Mission 165 in Warzone Commander, hold your opening deployment gauge until the enemy vanguard approaches your side of the map, absorb the initial infantry push with frontline foot soldiers, and place anti-armor units behind them to destroy incoming vehicle waves. Once the hostile armored column is eliminated, immediately advance behind a heavy tank before the enemy base can cycle fresh reinforcement waves.
Recommended Squad Loadout
Mission 165 sends high-durability vehicles backed by infantry lines. Bringing too many high-cost units will leave you unable to respond to rapid early rushes, so balance your battle group between cheap defensive screens and specialized damage dealers.
| Unit Role | Recommended Choice | Battlefield Function |
|---|---|---|
| Frontline Screen | Heavy Infantry / Bunker Squad | Absorbs initial rifle and machine-gun fire near your base. |
| Area Clear | Mortar Squad / Light Artillery | Eliminates foot soldiers clustered behind enemy armor. |
| Anti-Armor | Rocket Launchers / Anti-Tank Gun | Shreds high-durability vehicle armor from long range. |
| Assault Lead | Main Battle Tank / Armored Carrier | Leads the final push and absorbs defensive base fire. |
| Emergency Support | Air Strike / Barrage | Clears sudden clusters when vehicles and infantry overlap. |
Step 1: Survive the Opening Infantry Rush
Do not spend your entire deployment gauge on an expensive vehicle during the first twenty seconds. An unsupported tank deployed early will be swarmed and destroyed by enemy foot soldiers before your reinforcements arrive.
- Allow the enemy vanguard to advance across the midline toward your defensive zone while your resource meter fills.
- Deploy Heavy Infantry or a Bunker Squad just ahead of your base perimeter to establish an engagement line.
- Place a Mortar Squad or light artillery unit directly behind your frontline infantry once enemy foot soldiers lock onto them.
- Let your backline splash damage clear the opposing riflemen while your frontline screen protects your base structures.
Step 2: Neutralize Enemy Armored Columns
Once the opening infantry ranks thin out, the enemy deploys mid-tier armored combat vehicles. These units deal heavy direct damage and will quickly wipe unsupported infantry formations.
- Watch for armored units entering the lane and immediately queue your anti-tank specialists.
- Deploy Rocket Launchers or an Anti-Tank Gun behind your active infantry screen. Your infantry forces the vehicles to stop and fire, keeping your anti-armor squad safe from direct hits.
- Trigger an Air Strike or off-map barrage if the enemy stacks multiple vehicles in a single tight column.
- Keep replacing fallen frontline infantry with low-cost squads to maintain your protective buffer until the last hostile vehicle falls.
Step 3: Transition to the Counter-Offensive
Do not remain in a defensive formation after clearing the armor push. Mission 165 spawns recurring reinforcement waves if the opposing base is given time to cycle its unit production.
Deploy a Main Battle Tank or Armored Carrier at the front of your surviving anti-tank and artillery units. Advance the entire column toward the opposing base, using the heavy vehicle to draw base fire while your ranged specialists dismantle the structure. Keep a low-cost infantry unit ready in reserve to intercept any emergency defenders the enemy spawns during the final assault. Maintain constant forward pressure until the base structure is destroyed.
