To win with Jynxzi’s main deck in Clash Royale, you must force out your opponent's light spells using cheap swarm units, punish their empty spell rotations with Goblin Barrel, and rely on Inferno Tower and Valkyrie to shut down counterpushes. In double and triple elixir, close out matches by defending cleanly and cycling Rocket directly onto the enemy crown tower.

Deck List and Card Roles

This build features a classic Log-bait core reinforced by a heavier defensive backbone:

CardElixirPrimary RoleKey Utility
Goblin Barrel3Main win conditionPunish spent spells; emergency backline defense
Princess3Long-range splash and chipPrimary bait for The Log or Arrows
Dart Goblin3Ranged DPS and lane pressureAnti-air defense; secondary spell bait
Skeleton Army3High-DPS ground swarmPulls single-target rushers; baits Zap or Arrows
Valkyrie4Mini-tank and splash defenseTanks for Goblin Barrel; eliminates support troops
Inferno Tower5Heavy anti-tank buildingPulls and melts heavy win conditions
The Log2Light ground spellClears swarms, knocks back units, chips towers
Rocket6Heavy spell finisherNukes stacked pushes; tower finisher in overtime

Standard decks usually run only one or two light spells, such as The Log, Arrows, or Barbarian Barrel. Because Princess, Dart Goblin, Skeleton Army, and Goblin Barrel all demand quick answers, your opponent will frequently run out of optimal counters.

How to Sequence Spell-Bait Attacks

Success with this deck depends on tracking the opponent’s spell rotation and punishing bad elixir trades rather than deploying cards on cooldown.

  1. Open passively: Play Princess behind your King Tower to scout the opponent's starting cards and force an opening reaction.
  2. Read the spell response: If the opponent spends The Log or Arrows to clear Princess, immediately throw a centered Goblin Barrel at their tower.
  3. Apply split pressure: If the opponent holds their spell, place Dart Goblin at the river in the opposite lane, or send Valkyrie at the bridge with Goblin Barrel trailing behind. Valkyrie absorbs tower aggro, forcing the opponent to split their elixir between the charging tank and the barrel.
  4. Hold unbaited barrels: Avoid sending unbaited Goblin Barrels during single elixir if the opponent has an active counter in hand. Wasting three elixir gives away tempo and leaves you low on defense.

Defensive Placements

Valkyrie and Inferno Tower provide stability against heavy ground and air pushes that standard cycle decks struggle to stop.

  • Heavy Beatdown (Golem, Giant, Lava Hound): Place Inferno Tower four tiles from the river and three tiles from the targeted lane. This placement pulls the tank into range of both Princess Towers while keeping the building safe from immediate melee strikes. Drop Valkyrie behind the tank to wipe out supporting ranged units like Musketeer, Wizard, or Witch before they lock onto your tower.
  • Bridge Rushers (Prince, Bandit, Ram Rider): Deploy Skeleton Army in the center of your side to distract and shred incoming single-target attackers. If the opponent uses Zap or Arrows on your skeletons, use the spell opening to counterattack immediately with Dart Goblin or Goblin Barrel.

When to Use Rocket

Rocket costs six elixir, so throwing it at the wrong time leaves you defenseless against bridge counter-attacks.

  • Single Elixir: Only use an offensive Rocket if you can hit an opposing troop costing four or more elixir (such as Sparky, Bowler, Witch, or Executioner) while also damaging the Princess Tower. Otherwise, keep Rocket strictly for emergency defense against tightly grouped pushes or Balloon.
  • Double and Triple Elixir: Once the enemy tower drops into Rocket-Log health range, switch to full defense. Plant Inferno Towers and Valkyries proactively, cycle through low-cost swarms, and launch Rockets to take the tower.

Matchup Strategies

  • Bowler and Splashyard: Bowler and Baby Dragon easily clear Skeleton Army and Dart Goblin. Melt the tank with Inferno Tower, deploy Valkyrie directly onto the Graveyard or backline units, and use off-center Goblin Barrel placements to avoid ground splashers.
  • Lava Hound: Hold Dart Goblin until the opponent commits their air units. Burn the Lava Hound with Inferno Tower, place Princess deep on your side to splash Lava Pups, and save The Log for ground support troops.
  • Dual-Spell Decks: If the opponent runs two light spells (such as Zap and The Log), standard single-lane pushes will rarely break through. Split your pressure by placing Princess in one lane and Goblin Barrel in the other to divide their elixir and defense.
