Eternium ANB Event Guide: Timer Management and Celestial Gear

To succeed in an Eternium A New Beginning (ANB) event, preserve your limited event timer by conducting all inventory and crafting tasks in town, spend early Gems exclusively on ability and companion slots, and push Trials to secure Celestial Transforms for your best level 70 gear.

Because non-transformed event gear disappears at the end of the event, your primary endgame objective is earning Celestial Transforms to carry permanent, perfectly rolled items over to your main account.

Manage Combat Time and Town Activity

The ANB countdown timer runs only while your hero is actively inside a story stage or a Trial. Time spent in town does not count against your event limit.

To maximize your combat efficiency:

• Handle all maintenance in town: Review loot drops, socket gemstones, manage inventory bags, and forge equipment only while in town.
• Exit story levels immediately: Once you clear the primary objective or defeat a story boss, open a town portal and leave instantly. Do not waste active timer seconds exploring cleared areas or picking up stray gold.
• Speed through Trials: In Trials, pull large enemy packs to fill the summon bar quickly, defeat the Trial Boss, take your reward chest, and exit immediately.

Gem Spending Priorities in ANB

Event heroes start with limited resources, but unlocking utility slots early provides an immediate boost to clear speed and survival. Focus your Gems on permanent functional slots rather than speed-ups or randomized items.

Crafting and Gear Progression

Crafting costs at the Blacksmith are discounted during ANB events, making crafted equipment far more reliable than random enemy drops.

1. Leveling (Levels 1–69): Forge fresh weapons and armor every 10 to 15 levels. Focus item attributes on bonus Experience and Damage to accelerate your progression to level 70 while consuming as little timer as possible.
2. Reaching Level 70: Stop crafting leveling gear and pivot entirely toward completing your class-specific six-piece set bonus. A complete set bonus provides the damage and defense required to push higher Trials.
3. Salvaging Outdated Gear: Salvage replaced Ephemeral items at the Blacksmith to recover crafting materials and Marks of the Titan needed for endgame weapon and armor crafting.
4. Transitioning Stats for Trial Milestones: When preparing for deep Trial pushes, replace bonus Experience stats on your gear with Critical Rating, Critical Damage, and Vitality, and equip combat-focused gemstones to survive Trial Boss damage.

Unlocking and Applying Celestial Transforms

Pushing deeper into Trial milestones awards Celestial Transforms, the most valuable prize in an ANB event. A Celestial Transform permanently upgrades a level 70 item by maxing out all of its secondary attributes, adding Vitality, and granting a Celestial visual glow. Crucially, applying a Celestial Transform removes the temporary "Ephemeral" tag, ensuring the item migrates to your main account roster when the event concludes.

To get the most value from your Celestial Transforms:

• Do not transform placeholder gear: Never use a transform on leveling gear or items with flawed stat combinations.
• Craft an optimal level 70 base: Forge a level 70 weapon or essential set piece rolled with your build's four ideal stats (such as Critical Rating, Critical Damage, Ability Rate, and Power).
• Apply before the event closes: Apply the transform to your completed base item as soon as you confirm its stat distribution to guarantee its transfer.

End-of-Event Account Transition

When the event timer expires or the event closes, your accumulated progress transfers automatically:

• Celestial Gear: Items upgraded with a Celestial Transform migrate directly to your main account.
• Ephemeral Gear: Any item that remains marked as Ephemeral is automatically converted into gold or crafting materials.
• Currencies and Progress: Your gold, remaining Gems, crafting materials, and earned Champion Point experience are sent to your account-wide pool and mailbox.
• Hero Slot: If your account has an open character slot, your ANB hero converts into a standard character.
