In Eternium (version 1.5.42 and above), you can save complete hero setups to the Armory and swap between them in town without manually re-equipping gear or redistributing stat points. Access the Armory by tapping the chest icon located near your inventory interface in the main town hub. Each hero on your roster manages build slots independently.
What the Armory Saves
The Armory records your complete combat configuration. When you equip a saved loadout, the system swaps your equipment and automatically redistributes your Champion Points.
| Loadout Component | Saved in Armory Profile | Behavior When Equipping |
|---|---|---|
| Equipped Gear & Jewelry | Yes | Equips weapons, armor, shields, belts, bracers, rings, and trinkets directly from your inventory. |
| Socketed Gemstones | Yes | Preserves gemstones currently inserted into your equipped gear pieces. |
| Action Bar Abilities | Yes | Restores your designated primary attacks, special skills, and passive abilities. |
| Companions | Yes | Sets your active three-follower lineup and their chosen skill configurations. |
| Champion Points | Yes | Automatically reallocates all offensive, defensive, and utility Champion Points. |
How to Save and Equip a Build
Your character comes with one default Armory slot unlocked. Additional profile slots require spending Gems.
Saving a Loadout
- Set your equipment: Open your character screen in town. Manually equip all armor, weapons, and jewelry intended for the build.
- Configure skills and companions: Assign your active abilities, passives, and three companion slots.
- Distribute Champion Points: Allocate your points across the offensive, defensive, and utility categories according to your build's objective (such as damage scaling for Trials or Movement Speed and Extra Gold for farming).
- Open the Armory: Tap the Armory chest icon in town.
- Save to a slot: Select an available slot, confirm the save prompt, and rename the slot (for example, "Trial Push" or "Gold Farm").
Equipping a Saved Build
- Return to the town hub.
- Open the Armory interface.
- Tap the desired profile name.
- Select Equip. Your gear, skills, companions, and Champion Points will update immediately.
Inventory Storage and Missing Item Rules
The Armory does not provide dedicated item storage:
- Bag space consumption: Inactive gear sets remain inside your hero’s standard backpack. Storing an alternate loadout consumes roughly 10 to 14 inventory slots.
- Armory marker icons: Gear registered to any Armory profile displays an Armory marker in your backpack. Do not sell, salvage, or fuse marked items.
- Missing gear behavior: If an item linked to a profile is sold, salvaged, or missing from your bag when you hit Equip, the Armory loads the remaining available items. The missing gear slot will either remain empty or retain whatever piece was previously equipped.
