Your role is to guide a customizable hero into dangerous dungeons, defeat the threats inside, collect equipment, and grow stronger for the next run. The basic loop is direct but flexible: enter the Dungeon Gate, fight through procedurally generated levels, gather loot, return to the broader adventure, and adjust your character for the challenges ahead. You can slash through enemies, cast spells, or attack from a distance, with powerful gear, skills, and spells allowing you to shape a hero around the style you prefer. Because the levels are generated differently from run to run, familiar goals do not necessarily produce identical paths or encounters; you must adapt your approach, evaluate what you find, and decide how aggressively to pursue the next reward.

It introduces a darkened town hub, a corrupted marble dungeon, the goal of reclaiming the Golden Scepter and restoring the Golden Flame to Prometheus, and a new companion pet in Baby Pegasus; the area is reached through the left portal in the Temple of Fate. On PC, the larger display can make it easier to read combat information, follow your hero and companion through busy dungeon encounters, and compare the gear, skills, and spells that determine your next build.
