Sky: Children of the Light Season Pass and Gifting Guide

A Season Pass in Sky: Children of the Light grants access to exclusive cosmetic branches on seasonal spirit trees, awards 30 upfront Seasonal Candles, provides one extra free Seasonal Candle daily, and enables you to earn Seasonal Hearts for Ultimate Gifts. If you want to share passes with friends, purchase the three-pack bundle rather than the standalone pass, as you cannot upgrade your purchase later.

Choosing Between the Solo Pass and Three-Pack Bundle

During an active season, the in-game shop offers two purchase options:

Standalone Season Pass: Activates the pass on your account immediately. It grants the seasonal pendant, 30 bonus Seasonal Candles upon purchase, and the ability to claim daily login candles.
Three-Pack Bundle (Pass + 2 Gift Passes): Activates one pass on your account and places two Gift Passes into your inventory to send to friends. You cannot redeem the extra passes on your own account.

If you purchase the single pass, the game does not allow you to pay the difference to upgrade to the three-pack bundle later. If you plan to trade or share passes, buy the bundle first.

Gift Passes stored in your inventory never expire. If your friends already own the current season's pass, unspent Gift Passes remain in your inventory and convert into universal passes that you can transfer during any subsequent season.

How to Gift a Season Pass to a Friend

You cannot send passes via redemption codes or outside storefronts. Gifting is performed directly through the in-game friendship constellation tree while standing next to the recipient.

To gift a pass, you and your friend must satisfy four conditions:

Once the 72-hour timer passes, open your friend's interaction tree while standing beside them, navigate to the gift box node, and confirm the transfer. The recipient receives an on-screen prompt to accept the pass immediately.

Seasonal Candle Progression and Ultimate Gifts

Pass holders progress faster through spirit friendship trees due to two currency mechanics:

30 Upfront Seasonal Candles: Added to your balance immediately upon pass activation.
Daily Quest Shrine Candle: An extra Seasonal Candle available to collect each day at the quest statue in Home or Aviary Village, claimed separately from the four daily quest rewards and realm wax.

When unlocking items on a seasonal spirit's tree, pass holders do not pay additional candles for the pass-exclusive side branch. Paying the standard candle price for the main node automatically allows you to claim the adjacent pass-exclusive cosmetic for free.

Unlocking Ultimate Gifts

Ultimate Gifts are seasonal exclusives offered by the Season Guide and do not return through standard Traveling Spirit visits. Free players cannot obtain them.

To acquire Ultimate Gifts before the season ends:

Unlock every base node on a seasonal spirit's tree to reach the top.
Spend 3 Seasonal Candles to buy the Seasonal Heart at the top of that spirit's tree.
Visit the Season Guide in the seasonal area or Home hub and spend your accumulated Seasonal Hearts directly on the Ultimate Gifts.
