Claim Chronicle Milestone Rewards

Open the event interface and manually collect every unlocked Chronicle chest before the KvK countdown expires.

The KvK Chronicle tracks major kingdom milestones throughout the Flame of Surtr campaign, unlocking reward tiers as passes fall and the central sanctum is contested. Completed personal milestones do not reliably transfer to your system mail when the season concludes. Manually claiming these chapters ensures you receive your accumulated Universal Speedups, Gems, Chief EXP, and specialized event currencies. Reviewing these completed chapters also gives your alliance leadership a finalized record of campaign progress before distributing alliance-tier gift chests.

Spend Expedition Summon Tokens

Use all accumulated Expedition Summon tokens while your city remains on the Flame of Surtr map. Once your city relocates to the home kingdom, the standard summoning interface replaces the seasonal banner. Unless an in-game notice explicitly states a 1:1 rollover conversion for future seasons, unspent tokens risk expiring or converting into low-tier resource chests.

Check Capacity Differences: KvK territory bonuses often expand total hospital capacity beyond the base limits of your home kingdom. If your wounded count exceeds your home hospital capacity, excess units can be permanently lost if your city is attacked immediately after relocation.
Heal in Small Batches: Submit wounded troops in small groups to make full use of alliance help requests rather than spending large reserves of speedups.
Conserve Bulk Resources: Healing troops within the KvK zone prevents heavy drains on your domestic Food and Gold reserves once you return to the home kingdom.

Gather High-Tier Resources During the Ceasefire

Deploy to Levels 7 and 8: Send all march queues to the inner rings of the map to harvest high-level nodes that do not appear as frequently in home kingdoms.
Prioritize Gold and Stone: Target Stone and Gold nodes first to fund the high costs of post-war military academy research and building upgrades.
Equip Gathering Sets: Swap Chief talents and equipment presets entirely to gathering speed, as march interception is no longer possible.

Coordinate Home Kingdom Re-entry

Relying on the automated relocation system places your city in a random, unfortified outer zone of your home kingdom. To maintain defensive positioning, coordinate your arrival with alliance leadership.

Keep standard territorial teleporters ready in your inventory. As soon as your city returns to the domestic map, teleport directly into your alliance’s primary territory near the main fortress. This shelters your city from domestic rivals, aligns your marches with domestic alliance resource nodes, and prepares your account for the off-season rebuilding cycle.
