To clear Mission 98 and Mission 99 in Warzone Commander, absorb frontline damage with heavy armor while keeping anti-tank infantry and long-range fire protected directly behind your vehicles. Never send unsupported light infantry into the lane; hold your initial deployment gauge until you can deploy heavy armor paired immediately with ranged fire support.
Unit Roles and Deck Setup
Both missions require a balanced composition that combines sustained defense, anti-vehicle burst damage, and area-of-effect support strikes.
| Unit Type | Role | Priority | Tactical Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| Heavy Armor / Tank | Frontline Anchor | High | Absorbs turret shells and hostile fire ahead of infantry |
| Anti-Tank / Rocket Squad | Heavy Damage | High | Destroys enemy vehicles, main battle tanks, and bunkers |
| Riflemen / Assault Infantry | Screen | Medium | Eliminates standard enemy foot soldiers |
| Sniper Squad | Long-Range Fire | Medium | Picks off hostile gunners before they target tanks |
| Airstrike / Artillery | Wave Clear | High | Eliminates clustered reinforcements and weakens turrets |
Mission 98 Walkthrough
Mission 98 opens with fast, light enemy units designed to bait out expensive abilities early.
- Hold your opening support abilities. Do not fire artillery or air strikes at early scout units.
- Defend near your base perimeter. Deploy standard rifle infantry or a mid-tier carrier near your base defenses. Let base guns help clear the scouts while your deployment gauge builds toward higher capacity.
- Deploy your frontline push. Once energy reaches mid-to-high capacity, deploy your primary heavy tank, followed immediately by an anti-tank rocket detachment.
- Trigger support strikes at midfield. When your units cross midfield, the enemy deploys a dense reinforcement wave of armored vehicles and suppressive gunners. Drop your airstrike or artillery directly onto the cluster behind the enemy vanguard.
- Breach the command bunker. With hostile backline damage removed, advance your surviving armor and rocket troops directly to the enemy bunker to finish the stage.
Mission 99 Walkthrough
Mission 99 introduces automated defensive turrets that deal heavy splash damage to unarmored units, backed by aggressive enemy tank deployments.
- Lead exclusively with heavy armor. Deploy your heaviest tank first so it draws the targeting reticle of the fixed enemy turrets.
- Position anti-armor behind the lead tank. Deploy rocket infantry and snipers behind your tank, keeping them outside the operational range of the automated defenses.
- Execute a staggered armor rotation. Watch your lead tank's health gauge. When it falls below 25%, deploy a second armored vehicle immediately so it assumes turret aggro the moment the first tank is destroyed.
- Bombard counter-pushes. If the enemy deploys a heavy tank into the same lane as the defensive turret cluster, drop your airstrike directly onto the group to neutralize the counter-push.
- Maintain infantry screening. Continuously filter standard rifle units behind your secondary tank to stop incoming enemy foot soldiers from flanking your anti-tank squad.
Energy Management Rules
A failed push usually stems from spending energy the instant it generates. To maintain control through both stages:
- Keep a small reserve. Avoid emptying your gauge completely on routine pushes. Retaining a small energy buffer ensures you can call down an emergency support strike if an unexpected tank wave deploys.
- Avoid low-value strikes. Never spend high-cost artillery on scattered infantry squads. Reserve active strikes for reinforced bunkers, heavy tanks, and tightly packed enemy columns.

This helped me understand strategy much better.
I tried this today and it worked better than my old setup.
