A Narrator can frame the scene as a storytelling sequence, and face presets let you change expressions quickly when you are arranging repeated interactions. You can save and load up to 15 scenes, which makes it practical to maintain multiple setups instead of rebuilding every composition from scratch. Keyboard-and-mouse input is useful here because positioning characters, pets, and objects across a detailed scene is more manageable with precise pointer control, while a larger monitor lets you judge spacing, overlapping elements, and readable dialogue at a glance.

When you want a more structured objective, Gacha Club includes a collection and battle system centered on more than 180 units. You can gacha for battle characters as well as 150 pets that increase your stats, with super rare Corrupted and DJ characters among the collectibles. The four battle modes—Story, Training, Tower, and Shadows of Corruption—provide different ways to use and develop your roster. Progress depends on collecting gems, gold, and materials, then spending those resources to enhance units, awaken them, and increase their skill levels. That creates a loop of obtaining characters, improving their capabilities, and taking them into additional battles as you work through the available modes. On PC, the wider screen helps when reading battle information and comparing the members of your lineup before committing to a fight, while keyboard and mouse make repeated menu navigation and resource-management actions easier to handle.

Mini-games such as Usagi vs Neko and Mascot Whack provide another way to collect gems and bytes, which can then be used to gacha for more characters. They also give the collection side of the game an alternative to regular battles, and the store description notes that gems can be farmed easily. Gacha Club can be played offline without Wi-Fi, and its customization is presented as fully free with no in-app purchases.
