To collect all ancestral spirits and Winged Light nodes in the Hidden Forest in Sky: Children of the Light, work through each area sequentially while managing your flame. Persistent rain throughout the forest drains your cape energy and extinguishes your light if you stay exposed. Moving through the realm in five distinct zones allows you to hop between dry shelters, recharge at light sources, and secure every node without losing your winged charges.

1. Forest Clearing and Gates

After dropping through the cloud tunnel into the social space, you encounter three consecutive stone gates. Open each gate by lighting the red candles on the archways or standing on the floor switch until the mechanism turns. Light every shelter fire along this path to establish recharge points before entering the storm.

• First Winged Light: Climb into the hollow high up in the tree trunk located directly before the second gate.
• Shivering Trailblazer (Shiver Emote): Situate yourself on the left path before the third gate to find this spirit sheltered under a rock overhang.
• Gatehouse Winged Light: Perched on top of the third stone gate arch. Recharge at the ground lanterns before flying up to collect it.

2. Forest Brook

The forest downpour becomes continuous once you exit the third gate. Shelter beneath large mushrooms, stone gazebos, and hollow roots to keep your cape charged while securing the four spirits and four Children of Light in this sector.

For the Winged Lights in the Brook:

1. Step into the hollow tree trunk near the entrance for the first node and rain cover.
2. Follow the stream down and look up at the right-side cliff face to locate the second node inside a wall crevice.
3. Fly to the stone bridge near the sector exit to collect the third node sitting on the upper drainage arch.
4. Drop under the bridge piers into the small stone cavity to pick up the fourth node.

3. The Boneyard

The Boneyard opens into an expansive swamp filled with dark briars, tall treehouses, and aggressive crabs. Use a deep call to flip crabs before starting spirit memories, and bounce across mushroom caps or summon glowing butterflies if your cape drops below two energy wedges.

• Apologetic Lumberjack: Located beside the giant creature skeleton near the center of the valley.
• Skeleton Winged Light: Burn away the dense dark plants choking the creature's ribcage to reveal the child of light underneath.
• Treehouse Winged Light: Scale the massive tree on the far left side of the valley to find a node resting on an elevated platform.
• Cliffside Winged Light: Glide toward the right-hand rock wall to collect the node tucked into an elevated cliff cavity.

4. Underground Cavern

The subterranean caves are completely sheltered from rain, making this an ideal place to recover lost energy. Access this area through a hollow tree base near the border of the Brook and Boneyard, then break the cracked floor seal by using an angry stomp or coordinating a ground pound with another player.

1. Shaft Ledge: Descend down the entry shaft and hover onto the glowing ledge on the middle perimeter.
2. Crystal Hollow: Cross the luminous mushroom bridge and reach the elevated crystal rock formation.
3. Waterfall Shrine: Walk behind the main underground waterfall to grab the node on the wet stone altar.
4. Ceiling Exit: Ride the bird flocks up through the high ceiling fissure and take the node resting on the rim before exiting back outside.

5. Forest Temple and Lake Courtyard

Advance to the end of the Boneyard and light the bridge switches to summon jellyfish platforms, crossing the deep water to avoid drowning your flame.

• Roof Beam Winged Light: Fly onto the exterior roof supports above the temple entrance before going inside.
• Temple Meditation: Enter the main hall, light the altar candles, and sit at the shrine to trigger the Forest Elder cutscene.

The rear doors swing open into a rain-free lake courtyard. Sweep this final area to gather the last Children of Light:

• Search the hollow log resting near the water's edge.
• Fly to the high treehouse ruin along the left cliff face.
• Check behind the ruined stone pillar surrounded by birds.
• Collect the final Winged Light standing beside the exit archway leading to the Valley of Triumph.
