Stick War: Legacy on PC is a strategy and action game set in Inamorta, a world where rival nations have turned their military technologies into competing religions. You lead Order, a nation built around peace and knowledge, but that philosophy leaves your people exposed to infiltration by the surrounding powers. To survive, you must attack first, defeat opposing forces, and obtain the technologies that define each nation. The main objective is direct but demanding: build an army, destroy the enemy statue, and capture all Territories while adapting to enemies who specialize in different forms of warfare. The Swordwrath, Archidons, Speartons, and Magikill each represent a distinct threat, while Order gives you access to a broader tactical toolkit through Sword, Spear, Archer, Mage, and Giant units.

The central gameplay loop combines resource management, army composition, formation control, and direct intervention. You mine gold to build units, then decide whether to manage your army in formations or play individual stickmen yourself. That choice gives battles a useful range of control: you can focus on the larger movement of your force while still taking command of a specific fighter when a critical attack, defense, or engagement needs personal attention. The unit roster also encourages tactical planning rather than relying on one type of soldier. Sword units, Spearmen, Archers, Mages, and Giants offer different ways to approach an enemy position, and the improved unit formations and Archidon bow aim make positioning and ranged attacks important parts of the battlefield. The larger PC display helps you read the battlefield more clearly when several units, formations, and enemy attacks are competing for attention. A mouse is also well suited to selecting individual stickmen, directing formations, and switching between army-wide decisions and hands-on control without losing sight of the enemy statue or your available forces.

There is substantial variety beyond the main campaign. Classic Campaign follows the birth of the Order Empire and includes six bonus levels, while Missions Mode adds new levels every Friday and presents a saga-style map with multiple rewards. Difficulty is tracked through Crowns for Normal, Hard, and Insane play, giving you a reason to revisit challenges with more demanding goals. Additional game types change the priorities of a battle: Win before sunset emphasizes speed, Triple barricaded gold makes access to resources more complicated, Deathmatch shifts the focus toward eliminating the opposition, Forward Statue changes the battlefield objective, and encounters against Mini Bosses add another layer of pressure. These modes make resource timing and army selection matter in different ways, rather than treating every level as the same push toward the enemy base.

For longer-term play, Endless Deads turns the game into a zombie survival challenge built around lasting as many nights as possible. Tournament mode sends you through dozens of AI challengers in pursuit of the Crown of Inamorta, while character skins let you unlock weapons and armor with unique perks. Those unlocks add a collection and customization layer alongside the tactical campaign, giving repeated battles a purpose beyond simply reaching the next level. On PC, the larger screen is particularly useful when comparing available units, equipment, and rewards, and when reading combat information during a crowded fight. Keyboard-and-mouse control likewise makes repeated actions—such as selecting miners and combat units, issuing movement commands, and adjusting your response as formations collide—more manageable. Whether you are defending Order in the Classic Campaign, pursuing Crowns across the three difficulty levels, surviving Endless Deads, or climbing the Tournament bracket, Stick War: Legacy is built around making clear battlefield decisions with control over both the army and the individual stickmen within it.
